ACE Inhibition Assay
This example method provides a freely adjustable framework for measuring the adaptability of the OneLab environment to workflows from different application fields. It helps to understand various nuances of the code-free, universal protocol designer and provides general indications as to the feasibility of a project. Scripts generally require fine adjustment to correct for variables and support specific labware implementation.

Investigating the ACE inhibitory activity of active biomolecules is a valuable source of drugs for the treatment of cardiovascular diseases.
OneLab helps mitigate the effects of pipetting errors and variability during the assessment of ACE inhibition and IC50 determination. This allows for the delivery of more reliable and accurate data, while eventually accelerating biological discovery.

Manual Preparation of Working Solutions
This protocol will guide you during the manual preparation of working solutions. Instructions and order of preparation must be strictly followed, especially when reconstituting enzymes A, B, C, and co-enzyme supplied under vacuum pressure.

Confirmation of Presence or Absence of ACE Inhibitory Activity
This protocol allows you to test the presence of a potential ACE inhibitory activity in your samples. To obtain accurate data, samples are processed in triplicate and controls in duplicate. Refer to guidelines for plate layout and well content.

Determination of Half-Maximal Inhibitory Concentration (IC50)
This protocol will help you to achieve optimal measurement of your sample's ACE inhibitory activity and IC50 by assisting you during the preparation of sample dilutions and the assay procedure to ensure accurate pipetting.
